Something I saw on TVMobile on the way back home from Joel's studio; Soundlab. Nice ring to the name I feel. Haha
Well anyway, another, special day perhaps, or is everyday special? Nah.. can't be that. Anyway..
Was playing, I think it was Superman at Fish & Co, our final set, and these bunch of girls, who were by the way, yes you guessed it.. haha.. came up to the stage area and to my side and were giggling. I love it when I see that. Haha!!
So anyway, we were still playing and one of them asked me, "Can she play this?! She was drumming the whole beat on the table!" And I turned to Rifai and Joel who gave me a thumbs up, so I said, "Haha! Sure why not?!"
And so this girl, called Emily, she came up, was so shy, and started drumming the beat on the djembe. It was kinda cool! Haha, and her friends were like taking photos of us, I had to hold the djembe.. haha good exercise though..
So, after Superman ended.. the girls were like, "Can we have your number?!" And I'm so stumped.. Botakness has really brought forth good fortune.. Hahaha!! So I wanted to give an instant yes, but deep inside I said, "Let's play kite for now eh? Ok lets do it then.."
They were still looking anxious and all that, so I was like, "Uhh.. haha! What? Are you very sure?" and all that stuff? Haha.. finally they said they wanted to take pictures.. so we did, and Emily got in the center of the stage and held Rifai's guitar and we posed.. Haha! Funny!
Then Joel was like, "Girls! Listen carefully okay? Here's Bani's number! Ready... ?" And he said it.. hahaha!!
After the whole set ended.. the girls were like, "Emily loves Bani!" and I'm like oh noo flashback flashback.. haha but I just laughed along and smiled. What's a boy to do? Haha!
So I headed outside and they were like passing through the main door and screamed Bani again.. and I'm like, I can't believe this is actually happening la.. So I just waved at them, and then the whole group came up to me and this guy he looked sorta in his early 30s, he asked me, "So how do we spell your name?
And I said, "Haha, it's B-A-N-I.." And the girls were like, so is your number really -------0? And I'm like, haha yes! That's my number! The girls were very pretty man.. I cannot tahan.. but I just did. I kept it all in. I didn't wanna make any moves, let the chips fall where they may as Brad Pitt said. I held back for other reasons also la, but won't say it here..
Oh man.. I just can't believe that all this is happening. It's only been like 2 weeks plus into the holidays and I'm feeling happy. Is this a sign? If it is, what's the sign? Or maybe it isn't a sign, its just.. stuff that goes on and around..
Ahh.. Erma came down to pick Rifai up.. and Erma is just so funny la.. haha! She also do the grunge punch.. Wooot!
I figure I'm not grunge anymore. That whole thing was just a temporary fad. It might come back again.. yeah but I won't know for sure. It was just a junction I came across in the road of life and decided that apathy would be good to heal the wounds of life. Haha I don't know what I'm talking about, but who cares anyway? Haha! But apathy is easy.. I'm gonna do my best not to take that road again. It's been fun, yeah, but fun may not always be right.
Maybe I'll blog more a little later.. It's been a really great day!
P.S. To Bonk and Nic, SORRY!!!! I guess I have the whole holidays to work on my "waking-up" huh? Haha... I'm so so sorry you guys..
